I was hired in 2016 to reshape the Hyundai Retail Team and its processes. During our first 18 months, we grew the account and convinced the five dealer regions to consolidate into a unified, meaningful, marketing team with a singular vision. It resulted in better production efficiencies, stronger scoring commercials and steady increases in monthly sales. When I left in 2021, Hyundai market share was still climbing even though the U.S. auto industry was slipping, and we were celebrating our highest-selling March in history - despite a global pandemic. Car dealers are some of the most demanding clients in our industry, but through talent, patience and a lot of hard work, I'm proud to say that we turned all of them into believers and a few of them into life-long friends.
